At the City of Kalamunda Libraries we offer more than just items to borrow, we are also about spaces; spaces for everyone at your library!
Enjoy our relaxing spaces to read daily copies of the West Australian and the Australian. Current issues of magazines are also available to read in the library.
Spaces are available for individuals and small groups to study or work or just relax.
WiFi is available at Kalamunda, Forrestfield, High Wycombe and Lesmurdie libraries.
Drinks and small amounts of food are allowed in the libraries, but please keep them away from library resources and place rubbish in bins provided.

Libraries have expanded beyond traditional roles and are reaching further into their communities.
People who are physically unable to visit the library may be eligible for a library delivery service. We deliver books, magazines, talking books, large print and many other items that are available for loan.

The City of Kalamunda Libraries provide an outreach service promoting library services for adults and children through ‘pop-up libraries’ held at various locations throughout the year.
The City of Kalamunda libraries offer a range of regular adult activities and programs.
These regular sessions give an opportunity for the community members to socialise, develop skills and join like-minded people to explore their interests. Programs offered include Knitting, English conversation classes, tech learning classes, scrabble, philosophy discussions and book clubs.

The libraries hold various events throughout the year for adults on a wide variety of topics.
Workshops and talks provide something engaging and entertaining across a broad range of interests, from technology through to experts giving advice and tips on a range of subjects.
Author talks are an opportunity to meet one of your favourite authors or discover someone new! Books are often available for purchase and signing.

Justice of the Peace @ Forrestfield LibraryA free Justice of the Peace (JP) service provided by Christine Jayne Lightowler JP (WA Reg. No. 30106) is available to members of the community with no appointment necessaryMondays 11.00am – 2.00pm | Thursdays 12.00pm – 2.00pm; 3.00pm - 6.00pm.
A document witnessing service is available at Midland Courthouse Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9.30am - 12.30pm.
