Information Session: Spring Quenda Count
02 September 2020 : 3:00 PM - 02 September 2020 : 4:00 PM
Hosted by researcher Dr Roshelle Steven. The Great Quenda count is on again! Every year we ask citizen scientists to take part and help us and our partners WA Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions .
The quenda is listed as a Priority 4 species in WA, which means their ongoing survival is dependent on conservation and their numbers need monitoring through programs such as the Spring Quenda Count. In fact, the Spring Quenda Count may even provide the data we need to demonstrate the species warrants listing as threatened, providing we get enough people joining in the Count!
The Spring Quenda Count runs from 1 September to 30 November, and an information session hosted by researcher Dr Roshelle Steven is being held on 3 September, 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the Guildford Town Hall. Registrations are essential by emailing rsteven@wwwf.org.au
