Workshop: Reconciliation Connecting Community Art Project

18 June 2022 : 10:00 AM - 18 June 2022 : 11:30 AM

Join us at High Wycombe Library for a memorable painting experience! Sammy Wyborn, award-winning Aboriginal artist, will be leading an exciting collaborative art project at High Wycombe Library. Suitable for ages 8+. Bookings required

Sammy will facilitate workshops designed to share Aboriginal culture and beliefs while producing a beautiful artwork reflecting the diversity in our local community. The artwork on canvas will incorporate local plants and animals and be interspersed with handprints painted by local children, families, and anyone who would like to paint and decorate their own handprint.

The finished project will be showcased during the City of Kalamunda's 2022 NAIDOC celebrations.
