Creating Habitat Gardens by Rachel Green (Forrestfield)
09 February 2023 : 11:00 AM - 09 February 2023 : 12:00 PM
Do you want more birds around your home? Do you wish for more flowers, bees and butterflies but only have a small space? Would you like to help our local wildlife to survive in our drying climate? Yes! Then come along to this talk with local habitat gardener, WA native plant lover and bird enthusiast, Rachel Green, on how to create a habitat garden in Kalamunda, however big or small your garden space.
You’ll learn how habitat gardens can be both horizontal and vertical, require little water, look beautiful, boost people’s moods, and be a pleasure to look after – all while attracting more birds and wildlife. This talk will be action packed and entertaining, with plenty of great plant ideas, practical tips, stunning photographs and real courtyard and garden examples.
