Council Elections

The Electoral Commissioner conducts all local government postal elections in Western Australia and can also conduct voting in person elections on request under the Local Government Act 1995.

2021 Local Government Elections

The City of Kalamunda will be holding local government ordinary elections on Saturday, 16 October 2021 for a total of six (6) councillor vacancies, each for a four (4) year term. These are:

  • 2 x North Ward
  • 2 x North West Ward
  • 1 x South East Ward
  • 1 x South West Ward

Open: Thursday, 2 September 2021

Close: Thursday, 9 September 2021 @ 4pm

All postal votes to be received by 6pm Saturday, 16 October 2021. Results will be released as soon as validated by Returning Officer.
