As per all the government requirements, we have completed our COVID Safety Plan, the Rec Team have completed mandatory hygiene training and additional cleaning measures have been implemented across all the facilities. We have put up Perspex screens at HPRC, and medicated wipes and hand sanitiser are still available in multiple areas throughout.

The HWCRC 24/7 gym will remain closed due to the current restrictions however members are welcome to visit Hartfield Park Recreation Centre gym until we review the next Phase of the WA Roadmap.

Yes. Phase 3 restrictions allow full use of the change room, including showers, toilets and lockers.
Yes. However at a reduced capacity of 13 including the instructor. We will make sure they get thoroughly cleaned between all 7 classes.
The Hart Fit Studio is 82sqm, therefore with the 2sqm per person rule the new capacity for the room is 41 sqm. However with all that strength equipment we are keeping the same rule as before which is a maximum of 10 participants per class. First in best dressed!
Unfortunately for you (but maybe fortunately for others?) we will be reducing our equipment that can be used due to cleaning and safety protocols.
Darlene and the gym instructors will clean equipment throughout the day. We also ask that our members play their part and help maintain cleanliness by using a towel and disinfectant wipes to clean equipment before and after use.

Not at this stage because we are already in Term 2, so we are focusing on Term 3. The very popular Jump Start casual class on Monday at 4pm is still on though. and can’t wait to see you back!
