As part of National Recycling Week and as part of our partnership with Switch Your Thinking, Forrestfield Library is hosting this interactive textile workshop - delivered by Stephanie Pontet.

This engaging workshop features a short presentation, three interactive textile games and two hands-on upcycling activities. Participants explore natural vs synthetic fibres and learn about the textile industry's impact, while creating eco-friendly items like Tawashi sponges from old socks and no-sew bags from t-shirts - fun, plus practical steps towards sustainable fashion.
