The upgraded Stirk Park Playground and Skate Park was officially opened on 25 November 2023.

The $3.8M Stirk Park Playground and Skate Park project received funding from Lotterywest, the Federal Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program, the City of Kalamunda and the Rotary Club of Kalamunda.

About this Park

Named after Frederick Stirk who was the fourth pioneer landowner in the district and the first to clear land near the now Kalamunda Townsite in 1881. The heritage listed Stirk Cottage housed Frederick, Elizabeth Stirk and their nine children.
