The City of Kalamunda has included in its 2026/27 Capital Works Budget, for the upgrade of the road surface, minor kerb and drainage repairs on Chisholm Crescent intersections, of Drapper Place, Wharton Road and Pegg Court.
Works will commence late October 2026, and it is anticipated to take three weeks to complete. This timeframe could change due to contractor availability and weather conditions.
Details of work:
- Location: Chisholm Crescent intersections, of Drapper Place, Wharton Road and Pegg Court.
- Date: late October (approximately 3 weeks)
- Time: 6pm - 6am (night works)
Properties located adjacent to the proposed works, may experience some disruption in relation to exiting and entering the property. These properties will receive a letter from City Contractor Asphaltech closer to the date of works, with more specific information regarding impact.
If this situation should occur then you are requested to contact the City’s contractor on 9249 8821 in the first instance, who will then make the appropriate arrangements with you.

- Emergency services, local businesses, and residents will be notified in advance. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
- Road closures will be in place. Please follow all detour signage, be mindful of workers and allow extra travel time.
- Bin services may be impacted, please ensure your bins are out on your allocated bin day before 6am.
