Allocated Budget: $535,000Commencement Date: 14 June @ 9am
UPDATE: 6 September 2021 - Although the lighting has been installed, last month’s heavy rain unfortunately impacted our schedule. With the predicted improved weather, we’re on track for a mid-October finish date!
21 July 2021 - Due to ongoing weather conditions, works at this site have been temporarily paused. Works are expected to resume from 2 August 2021.
These works will involve the construction of a new roundabout at the current intersection of Maida Vale Road and Roe Highway off ramp. Works will include earthworks and a new pavement treatment on all approaches, with drainage and street-lighting upgrades.
This project was awarded to HAS Earthmoving.
Note there will be no exit available from Roe Highway to Maida Vale Road during this time. Traffic management may be in place during various periods of this upgrade. Please be patient and follow signage and directions accordingly. Please contact the City of Kalamunda via the details provided below with any project related matters including complaints or compliments.
The City would like to assure the community, that every effort will be made during these works to minimise impact on those who live nearby and also to the environment.
