You must possess one to be able to trade at events.
A registered food business will need to apply for a Food Stall Permit to operate at any public events in the City of Kalamunda. Please note that approval of a food stall is subject to compliance with the City's requirements for temporary food stalls.
This excludes the standard Kalamunda Markets - Artisan, Farmers and Night.
After seeking approval from an Event Organiser, you will need to supply them with your Kalamunda Food Stall Permit Number, valid Food Business Registration Certificate and public liability certificate of currency.
Please ensure your food stall permit is with you at the event. Either hard or digital copy is acceptable.
To apply to attend an event please contact the Event Organiser and follow their process. The Event Organiser will send your details to the City as part of their event application.
This permit does not have an application fee and remains valid until the end of the current financial year1.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure you receive a confirmation email for each public event from the City of Kalamunda Health Services Department, confirming your permission to attend the event. Event organisers will submit your information with the event application. If you do not receive your confirmation email prior to the event, please contact the City of Kalamunda on 9257 9999 and ask to be put through to Health Services for assistance.
1Please contact the City of Kalamunda if any changes are made to your food business as this may invalidate your permit.

There is no application for a City of Kalamunda Food Stall Permit. However, if your permit is required to be processed within 7 working days of the event an expedited fee may be payable as outlined in the fee schedule on the City’s website.
If paying over the phone, you will be contacted by the City for payment.
