Public Open Space Strategy

The City has developed this Public Open Space Strategy to ensure the future protection, provision and management of valuable POS sites that meet the ongoing needs of the community.

Background
The Public Open Space Strategy (POSS) will form a key component of the City's new Local Planning Strategy 2019, and outlines the strategic direction for the City's recreational facilities and social spaces. The POSS was adopted by Council 22 May 2018.

Consultation with the community was undertaken from December 2017 – February 2018 with feedback incorporated into the final Strategy.
