BUSH FIRES ACT 1954
Regulation 24C (Total Fire Ban)
Use of engines, vehicles, plant or machinery likely to cause a bush fire
(Commonly referred to as Harvest and Movement of Vehicles in paddocks bans)
I, Michael Ward, an authorised Chief Bush Fire Control Officer of the City of Kalamunda hereby declares a ban on the use or operation of engines, vehicles, plant or machinery for Friday 6th December 2019 from 0800hrs (8:00am) until 1900hrs (7:00pm) for the whole of the City of Kalamunda.
This Ban will be reviewed at 1700 hrs (5:00pm) Friday 6th December, 2019 at which time further advice may be issued.
Activities NOT PERMITTED during this ban.
- Harvesting operations
- Any "hot works" (e.g. welding, grinding, cutting, heating etc) in the "open air" are not permitted, (note-these activities are not permitted during the term of any Total Fire Ban)
- Other, Use or operation of any engine, vehicle plant, equipment or machinery in the area likely to cause a bush fire or contribute to the spread of a bush fire.
