City of Kalamunda residents have a new way to show their passion for where they live, work and play.  Limited edition licence plates are now available from the City’s Administration Offices.

Mayor Margaret Thomas said, “By purchasing one of these distinctive licence plates businesses and residents can display their connection to the City of Kalamunda and promote the city wherever they travel”.

“This is also a great way for local businesses to proudly advertise their locality and as such, support buying local initiatives”.

“Over 60,000 people and approximately 4,500 business have chosen the City of Kalamunda as the place to live and build their livelihoods.  Close to half of those who work in the City also live in the area, which is not surprising given the wealth of opportunities, rich heritage and natural landscape of the region. Why would you choose to be anywhere else?”

The licence plates consist of four numbers, which the purchaser can select, followed by the City of Kalamunda logo and the letters KM.  Purchasers are encouraged to get in quick to secure their favourite numbers.

Plates take 8-12 weeks to produce, cost $300 each and can be ordered from the City’s Administration building, 2 Railway Road, Kalamunda WA 6076.
