Proposed Lease: Portion of 35 Weston Road, Pickering Brook

The City of Kalamunda (City) proposes to lease a 36m2 portion of 35 Weston Road, Pickering Brook to Telstra Corporation Limited (Telstra).

The site is currently a mobile black spot and the proposed lease will enable Telstra to operate telecommunications

services at the site.

The market value of the proposed lease was assessed at $6,500.00 per annum on 2 March 2021, as ascertained by an independent market valuation. The consideration to be received by the City for the proposed lease is $6,500.00 per annum, to be increased by 2% each year. The lease term is 10 years plus two further terms of 5 years each.

Members of the public are invited to make a submission in relation to the proposal.
