Connected communities contain a diverse range of physical, human, social and economic capital. Working together, connecting with each other, to the place in which we live, to the spaces in which we work and play is vital to build a connected and strong community.
Creating a more connected community will improve the social wellbeing of the community as a whole. Fundamental to this
concept is promoting the value of active citizenship to the community, and, enabling people to connect to opportunities and to volunteering.
