Youth and Community Assistant Position

This is a 12-month position that is offered to a new young person each year.

The City of Kalamunda has a dedicated Youth & Community Assistant (YCA) who works towards encouraging, supporting and interacting with young people within the local government area by creating and hosting a variety of activities and events.

The role sits within the community development team and supports the Youth and Community Development Officer (YCDO), together forming the Youth Team. The YCDO will provide guidance and assistance helping you make the most out of this experience.

This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, gain professional experience and interact with community and business stakeholders. It is a great position to build skills and prepare for the workforce, while actively making a difference in your community.
