Know the Signs: Identifying Red Flags in Relationships

09 October 2024 : 6:30 PM - 09 October 2024 : 8:00 PM

The City of Kalamunda is hosting an initiative to help women – and their family and friends – to identify and respond to signs of a toxic relationship.

There’s a lot of chatter these days about family violence and toxic relationships. But can you spot the warning signs? And do you know what to do or where to go for help?

Here’s the hard truth. 1 in 4 women experience violence from an intimate partner, and Western Australia has the second highest rate of reported physical violence against women across the nation. But everyone can be part of the solution.

This event will feature a series of insightful presentations by leading experts in the field of domestic violence prevention. Dr. Lorraine Sheridan, a distinguished forensic psychologist, will deliver a keynote address on recognising early red flags in relationships. Briana Harris uses martial arts principles to build courage and resilience in everyday life.

Tickets are FREE, but booking is essential to secure your place. Choose the date and location that’s most convenient for you:

Wednesday 9 October, 6.30 to 8.00pm

Or
