Proposed Road Renewal Works: Edney Road, High Wycombe
In conversation with Author Emily Bridget Taylor
27 February 2025 : 5:30 PM - 27 February 2025 : 7:00 PM
Join us at Kalamunda library for an intimate evening with local WA Poet Emily Bridget Taylor, followed by poetry reading.
Emily Bridget Taylor is a Perth-based poet and spoken word performer. Her artistic calling is to pen words that heal, inspire, and shed light on women’s stories, especially those that have been silenced.
In 2022, she won a position in the Four Centres Emerging Writers Program, working with Fremantle Press to develop a poetry manuscript. She released an illustrated zine, which sold out in bookstores across Perth and internationally. The same year, Emily toured Remedy, the spoken word show at events including Wild Village Festival. In 2024 Remedy, Emily's debut full-length poetry collection, was published by Bijou Press.
A complimentary light evening supper of sweet desserts, tea and coffee will be provided at the event.
