Accessible Adventures - Dell to South Ledge Hike
20 October 2025 : 9:00 AM - 20 October 2025 : 12:00 PM
Hiking is for EVERY body! In partnership with Off the Beaten Track WA and supported by the State Government through the WA Hiking Participation Grants Program, we are honoured to deliver the Accessible Adventure Series throughout 2025 in Kalamunda.
The Dell to South Ledge Walk is a picturesque 9 km loop trail that meanders through the stunning Beelu National Park. Starting from The Dell Picnic Area, the trail follows a well-defined path through towering jarrah and marri woodlands, offering a peaceful escape into nature. Along the way, hikers can enjoy the sights and sounds of native birdlife and seasonal wildflowers, particularly in spring as well as sweeping views of Paulls Valley. The walk leads to South Ledge, where the Golden View Lookout provides breathtaking panoramic views over the Helena River Valley and Lake CY O’Connor. This trail is ideal for those seeking a gentle yet rewarding longer day walk with opportunities for photography, relaxation, and immersion in Western Australia’s natural beauty.
Join us for an Accessible Hike on this trail and connect with like-minded people, learn new skills and discover that hiking is for every body!
