Perth Hills Artists Open Studios Weekend
Perth Hills artists are once again throwing open their doors for the popular spring Artrooms Kalamunda Open Studios weekend. The much-loved, City of Kalamunda-supported event returns this Saturday, 10 and Sunday, 11 October from 10am to 5pm at various locations and is a program feature of this year’s Perth Hills Spring Festival.

Mayor Margaret Thomas said the Open Studios weekend is a great way for people to enjoy local art while taking in the City’s amazing amenity and landscapes.
“Visitors will get a glimpse behind the scenes as they tour the studios of local artists from painters to photographers to ceramicists,” Cr Thomas said.
“More than 20 artists will open their studios across to the public across the weekend where they will be available to share and discuss their passion, inspiration and artistic choices.
“Plus, it’s a great opportunity to purchase unique, locally made art direct from artists including David and Margaret Thornton, Chris Oxberry, Karin Hotchkin, Paul Moro, Gordon Mitchell, Penny Maddison, Moira Court, Anita Phillips and Johannes Pannekoek.”
