We have worked closely with the City of Kalamunda to ensure COVID-19 safety measures are in place for ANZAC, and as such we encourage community members to attend the War memorial and pay tribute to all those who have served, including those who made the ultimate sacrifice.”
Mayor Margaret Thomas said the City is a proud supporter of ANZAC Day and is pleased local commemorations can be attended in person this year following the necessary cancellation of parades and gatherings in 2020.
“It’s important we remember the countless men and women who have fallen, the many who returned and those still working to protect us,” Cr Thomas said. “We will not forget them.
The Mayor will play at The Last Post at dawn.
