Keep cool on Australia Day at Kalamunda Water Park
Australia Day is set to go off with a splash at the City of Kalamunda’s Australia Day Pool Party on Wednesday 26 January 2022.
With two for one entry to the park between 9am and 6pm and a whole raft of activities happening like free BBQ hire, great entertainment, and fun for the kids, the event is the perfect opportunity to kick back and keep cool on Australia Day.
Mayor Margaret Thomas encouraged people to take the plunge on the day.
“Our Australia Day Pool Party provides an opportunity for people to enjoy the Australia Day public holiday in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere, while keeping cool at one of our community’s favourite facilities.”
The City will also host Citizenship celebrations at the City’s Administration Centre on the day as 35 people from 18 different countries will be welcomed as new Australian Citizens.
“Australian Citizenship is a great privilege and a commitment to our country’s shared values, including equality and opportunity for all people, and I look forward to welcoming this group of new Australians into our community.”, said Mayor Thomas.
The Australia Day Pool Party is supported by the National Australia Day Council’s Australia Day Community Grants Program.
