Jump Start is a fitness series designed specifically for teens, offering a safe, supportive environment where they can learn the fundamentals of fitness from qualified gym instructors. The program aims to help teens begin their fitness journey with proper guidance and technique.
Location: Hartfield Park Recreation Centre
Jump Start Intro – Thursdays 4:00pm - 5:00pm This is the first stage of Jump Start, a term-long progression program designed to introduce teens to fitness.
Jump Start Strength – Wednesdays 4:00pm - 5:00pm After students attend the Jump Start Intro program, they can attend Jump Start Strength on a Wednesday.
New Jump Start Gym-Based – Fridays 4:00pm - 5:00pm In this casual class, students follow a personalised fitness program with guidance from a gym instructor. A program appraisal* is required before starting this class.

Clubs 4 Life is the City of Kalamunda’s club development program that aims to support and develop sustainable local sport and recreation clubs.
Enables eligible children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport and recreation by offering them financial assistance towards club fees.

As per all the government requirements, we have completed our COVID Safety Plan, the Rec Team have completed mandatory hygiene training and additional cleaning measures have been implemented across all the facilities. We have put up Perspex screens at HPRC, and medicated wipes and hand sanitiser are still available in multiple areas throughout.
Our team will clean equipment throughout the day. We also ask that our members play their part and help maintain cleanliness by using a towel and disinfectant wipes to clean equipment before and after use.
