Christmas & New Year Opening Times
A Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to All from the City Mayor, Councillors, CEO & all the staff. Additional recycling bin collections and some of our facilities including Ranger Services have adjusted operating hours over this festive season.

Additional recycling collections will be: provided over the Christmas and New Year period for all residents.
Recycling bins are to be presented by residents of both Area 1 and Area 2 the week commencing Monday, 27th December 2021 and the week commencing 3rd January 2022.
Fortnightly recycling collections will then resume as per the waste services calendar the week commencing 10th January 2022.
Normal collections will continue between 25 December 2021 - 1 January 2022.
The City of Kalamunda Rangers hours of operation are as follows:
17 December 2021: 7.30am - 6.30pm
18 - 19 December 2021: 7:30am – 3:30pm
20 - 23 December 2021: 7:30am – 6:30pm
24 December 2021: 7:30am – 11:30am
Christmas Day: No Rangers on Duty
Boxing Day: No Rangers on Duty
27 December 2021 - 3 January 2022: 7:30am – 3:30pm each day
Residents who have found animals on Christmas Day or Boxing day are encouraged to hold until the next working day or alternatively take the animal to a local emergency vet. Please DO NOT to trap cats over this holiday period due to predicted hot weather and as cats can not be collected until Rangers are back on shift, 27 December 2021.
Normal hours will commence again on Tuesday, 4 January 2022.

As these are bookings only facilities, the centres will remain open for community bookings only.
1If your call is received outside of hours please leave your details with the after-hours operators. The operators provide contact details to the relevant on-duty staff member including Rangers. Where not urgent, the City will return your call the following working day.
