Community Services Directory

The Community Directory was created by the City of Kalamunda to provide links for the community to access services and community groups which are local, not for profit and low-cost/free to participate in.

These groups and services also comprise of local non-profit sporting clubs, education facilities such as schools and other arts, cultural and leisure activities.

  • Alzheimer’s Australia WA
    Support carers of persons who are living with dementia in the community.

  • Australian Red Cross

    Red Cross’s services provide a range of support to older people. You can be matched a friend, receive regular caring welfare calls, be driven to appointments, be provided with a personal alarm or be delivered a healthy meal. We can also support you to access appropriate housing and care. You can access many of these services through the Federal Government's My Aged Care portal.

  • Forget Me Not Memory Cafe
    Forget-Me-Not memory Café - dementia support, is a community led initiative that gives those living with memory loss, their carers and loved ones a supportive social network through the casual atmosphere of local cafe's throughout Western Australia. Kalamunda is held on the first Wednesday of every month at Gracies Cafe, 10am to 12noon. Everyone is welcome.Come for a minute, an hour or stay for the whole event.

    Safe & Found WA is an initiative introduced by Western Australia Police Force (WA Police Force) and Australia Medic Alert Foundation. Safe & Found supports people living with dementia, autism or a cognitive impairment who might be at risk of becoming lost or reported as missing, by ensuring Police have immediate access to critical information to assist when undertaking search operations.
